Manama: Abdulrahman Khamis Al Zayani, Director of Television at the Ministry of Information, stated that Bahrain TV’s coverage of the 3rd Asian Youth Games showcased its technical readiness and the professionalism of its staff. He noted that the ministry’s teams worked collectively to ensure comprehensive and high-quality coverage of the continental event, consolidating Bahrain’s position as a leading sports destination in the region.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Zayani emphasized the success of the coverage, which was a result of close coordination among the ministry’s departments and continuous cooperation with the organizing committee and sports federations. Technical, editorial, and production teams worked diligently throughout the Games to deliver live coverage and daily reports using advanced broadcast and production technologies. The media plan included special programs, field reports from venues, and dedicated segments on “Sabah Al Bahrain”, “Masa Al Khair”, and “Bab Al Bahrain”.
Al Zayani remarked that the achievement reflects the efficiency and professionalism of Bahrain TV’s national workforce and their capability to deliver high-standard coverage of major sporting events, thereby strengthening Bahrain’s media presence both locally and internationally. The coverage encompassed live broadcasting of more than seven daily events, recording and archiving about 600 television segments, and bilingual reporting in Arabic and English from various competition venues.
