Manama: Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Bahrain Animal and Agriculture Production Show (Mara'ee 2025) is set to take place from December 9 to 13, 2025. This event underscores Bahrain's dedication to advancing agricultural and livestock production, aligning with development efforts spearheaded by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, announced the exhibition during a ceremony at the Gulf Hotel. The event will be hosted at the Bahrain International Endurance Village, featuring expanded activities and greater participation from both local and international exhibitors.
The minister emphasized the show's contribution to food security and local production enhancement. He highlighted Bahrain's strategy to advance agricultural and livestock sectors through modern practices and capacity building, supported by the national strategy for sustainable agricultural development. Al Mubarak also acknowledged the backing of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Advisory Council of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD).
Mara'ee serves as a multifaceted event that reflects Bahrain's capability to host major exhibitions, showcasing national initiatives aimed at bolstering food security and improving agricultural and livestock production. Asim Abdulatif Abdullah, Undersecretary for Agriculture and Animal Wealth Affairs and Chairman of the organizing committee, provided an overview of the forthcoming edition, which aims to introduce advanced agricultural technologies and expand livestock development initiatives.
This year's edition will feature an animal exhibition with horses, camels, livestock, and birds, along with the Bahrain Mangrove Exhibition, a farmers' market, and a date exhibition. These elements offer visitors an integrated experience that connects agricultural production with local heritage. The show will also include areas for arts and culture, children's play, horse and livestock shows, family entertainment zones, and food stalls, positioning Mara'ee as a comprehensive family destination. The event underscores Bahrain's efforts to advance agricultural and livestock production, reinforcing its position as a regional hub for innovation and investment in this sector.
