Manama: Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain is preparing to host the third edition of the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS) on November 5-6 at Exhibition World Bahrain. The event will be organized by the National Cybersecurity Center (NCSC) and aims to bring together global experts, decision-makers, and representatives from both the public and private sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this edition of AICS will mark a significant milestone with its new strategic partnership with DEF CON, a renowned cybersecurity conference. This collaboration will introduce DEF CON Villages, offering interactive experiences in areas like artificial intelligence, industrial control systems, cloud security, and space technologies. The initiative aims to enhance the technical content of the event and provide a richer experience for participants.
The event will also feature Demo Labs, a platform for researchers, students, and startups to present their innovations to an international audience. These interactive sessions are designed to foster engagement and collaboration among participants and experts in the cybersecurity field.
AICS positions Bahrain as a key player in the cybersecurity sector. The conference is a strategic platform for exchanging knowledge, forming partnerships, and showcasing the latest cyber solutions. It will include specialized training programs, technical workshops, panel discussions, cyber competitions, and a technology exhibition featuring innovations from leading global cybersecurity companies.
