Kampala: Ambassador Dr. Yousif Abdulkareem Bucheeri, Director General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led Bahrain's delegation to the 63rd annual session of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organisation (AALCO) in Kampala, Uganda. He emphasized Bahrain's dedication to international law, multilateral cooperation, and sustainable development, while highlighting the role of international law in promoting peace and security.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the session was inaugurated under the patronage of His Excellency Yoweri Museveni, President of Uganda. It underscored the importance of solidarity between Asia and Africa in addressing global challenges, such as climate change, conflicts, technological changes, and economic disparities.
