Manama: Bahrain's men's and women's national table tennis teams will depart for Amman, Jordan, to compete in the West Asia Table Tennis Championship, taking place from August 12 to 19. The teams are set to participate in a variety of events, including team, singles, and doubles across multiple age categories: Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, as well as the senior category. According to Bahrain News Agency, the national teams have completed their preparations through intensive morning and evening training sessions. In a bid to enhance their readiness for the championship, the Bahrain Table Tennis Association enlisted the participation of players from Trkiye and Egypt in the daily training sessions. Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association, met with the technical and administrative staff and players representing Bahrain. She commended their efforts and commitment throughout the preparation period and extended her best wishes for their success in achievi ng strong results.
