Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,938.72 points, marking a decrease of 9.62 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to a drop in the communications service sector, the consumer discretionary sector, and the financial sector. Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decline, closing at 972.38 points, marking a decrease of 2.92 points below the previous closing.
According to Bahrain News Agency, results indicated that 47 equity transactions took place with a volume of 507,487 worth BD 180,211. Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, which represented 55.19% of the total value of securities traded.
