Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,953.07 points, marking an increase of 2.34 points above the previous closing. This rise was largely attributed to gains in the communication services, consumer discretionary, and financial sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an increase, closing at 918.45 points, up by 1.46 points from the previous closing. The trading session witnessed 61 equity transactions with a volume of 1,831,595 shares, amounting to BD 324,428.
Investors primarily traded in the financial sector, which represented 73.34% of the total value of securities traded.
