Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,891.60 points, marking a decrease of 6.87 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to the drop in the communication services sector, the consumer discretionary sector, and the materials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has also experienced a decline, closing at 790.15 points, which is 1.71 points lower than the previous closing. The day's results indicated that a total of 91 equity transactions took place with a trading volume of 1,798,081, amounting to BD 496,733.
Investors primarily traded in the financial sector, which represented 66.01% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
