Bahrain Stock Market Sees Decline as Major Indices Close Lower


Manama: Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,948.34 points, marking a decrease of 4.75 points from the previous closing. This decline was attributed to drops in the Communications Services, Financials, Industrials, and Real Estate sectors.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decrease, closing at 975.29 points with a decline of 6.70 points from the previous closing. The market results showed that 61 equity transactions occurred, involving a volume of 416,195 shares with a total value of BHD 125,713.



Investors focused their trading activities mainly on the Financial Sector, which accounted for 51.88% of the total value of securities traded.
