Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,957.99 points, marking an increase of 1.66 points above the previous closing. This rise was attributed to improvements in the communications services sector and the financials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an upward trend, closing at 915.61 points with an increase of 9.13 points. The market activity showed that 85 equity transactions occurred, involving a volume of 1,847,823, amounting to BD 481,065.
Investors predominantly focused on the financials sector, which accounted for 74.76% of the total value of securities traded.
