Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,943.81 points, marking an increase of 6.48 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to a rise in the consumer discretionary sector, the financial sector, and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 829.48 points, marking an increase of 1.69 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 126 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,965,358 worth BD 805,163. Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 5.65% of the total value of securities traded.
