Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,955.61 points, marking an increase of 4.92 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the financial sector. Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 948.09 points, marking an increase of 5.27 points above the previous closing.
According to Bahrain News Agency, results indicated that 317 equity transactions took place with a volume of 5,924,467 worth BD 1,598,613. Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 74.95% of the total value of securities traded.
