Manama: Bahrain All Share Index closed at 2,036.40 points, marking an increase of 5.63 points over the previous closing. This was attributed to gains in the communications services, financials, materials, and consumer staples sectors. The Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an uptick, closing at 977.53 points with an increase of 1.87 points.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the trading session saw 61 equity transactions with a total volume of 19,766,703 shares, amounting to BHD 4,222,007. The financial sector was the most active, accounting for 91.10% of the total value of securities traded.
