Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,956.24 points, marking a decrease of 0.46 points below the previous closing. This decrease was attributed to the drop in the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a reduction, closing at 913.75 points, which is a decrease of 1.94 points from its previous close. The results showed that 130 equity transactions occurred with a trading volume of 2,125,761, amounting to BD 494,566.
Investors were primarily active in the financial sector, which accounted for 69.43% of the total value of securities traded.
