Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,944.90 points, marking an increase of 7.20 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to a rise in the communications service sector, the financial sector, and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an upward movement, closing at 862.85 points, which is 9.66 points above its previous closing. Results indicated that 102 equity transactions took place with a volume of 3,389,975, amounting to BD 1,508,418 in total.
Investors showed significant interest in the material sector, which constituted 56.70% of the total value of securities traded.
