Manama: Bahrain All Share Index closed at 2,052.49 points, registering a decline of 1.10 points from the previous closing. This decrease was primarily driven by a downturn in the communications services and financials sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also recorded a decrease, closing at 1,014.38 points, which is 2.23 points below its previous closing. The trading session saw 78 equity transactions with a trading volume of 3,043,984 shares, amounting to a total value of BHD 2,647,823.
Investors showed a strong preference for the materials sector, which accounted for 93.37% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
