Manama: Bahrain participated in the second Chief Legal Advisors Forum held in Singapore, where Ambassador Al Haidan emphasized Bahrain's role in resolving investment disputes and its legal frameworks. The Ambassador discussed Bahrain's mechanisms of combining amicable settlement with international arbitration to adhere to high standards, contributing to an attractive investment climate rooted in transparency and the rule of law. He highlighted Bahrain as a regional exemplar in managing investment disputes and safeguarding investor and state rights. According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Bahrain, the forum sessions focused on modern approaches to challenges in investor-state disputes and considered reforms to dispute settlement mechanisms, including the potential creation of a Multilateral Investment Court.
