Manama:More than 20,000 individuals registered to perform Hajj for the 1447 AH/2026 season within the first two and a half hours after the opening of electronic registrations on Bahrain's unified platform, haj.gov.bh.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs reported a high level of demand from the outset, with thousands of citizens eager to submit their applications, demonstrating a strong interest in performing Hajj.
Applicants meeting the necessary requirements will receive notifications of their initial acceptance once the registration period concludes, following the approved precedence and priority criteria.
In the subsequent phase, licensed tour operators will be allocated a suitable timeframe to announce their packages. The exact date for initially accepted applicants to select an operator will be communicated at a later time.
