Bahrain Participates in 11th GCC Ministers of Social Affairs and Development Meeting

Kuwait city: Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, led Bahrain's delegation to the 11th GCC Ministers of Social Affairs and Development meeting in Kuwait. The meeting was also attended by Jasim Mohammed Al Badiwi, Secretary-General of the GCC, and Mohammed bin Hassan Al Obaidly, Director-General of the Executive Office of the GCC Ministers of Labour and Social Affairs.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Alawi highlighted the progress achieved through GCC social programmes and projects, emphasizing that they reflect a shared commitment to unified visions and regional integration. He stated that these initiatives provide a strong foundation for continued collaborative efforts.

Al Alawi expressed Bahrain's appreciation for the initiatives of member states and confirmed the Kingdom's readiness to host the next ministerial meeting. He assured full support for the success of the upcoming gathering. The minister welcomed the outcomes of the current meeting and affirmed Bahrain's commitment to advancing joint GCC social and developmental initiatives.
