Seoul: Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, took part in the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) General Assembly in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from September 24 to 27, 2025. The assembly focused on advancing the Paralympic movement globally and enhancing collaboration among national committees.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahraini delegation included Ali Mohammed Al Majed, Secretary General of the Committee; Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, Executive Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs; Noor Husain, Executive Secretary to the Secretary-General and Events Coordinator; and Mahmood Mohammed, Senior Sports Affairs Coordinator. These representatives were involved in discussions aimed at sharing expertise and developing frameworks to support athletes on an international scale.
The participation of Bahrain in this assembly underscores its dedication to promoting Paralympic sports and establishing a strong presence in both regional and international platforms.
