Bahrain Paralympic Committee Engages in Strategic Discussions at 38th APC Meeting in Astana

Astana: Shaikh Mohamed bin Duaij Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, took part in the 38th meeting of the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC)'s Board of Directors, which was held in Kazakhstan.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting involved extensive dialogues on the strategic action plan for 2024-2027. The focus was on advancing sports for people of determination throughout Asia and enhancing regional and international partnerships.

The board also reviewed the latest preparations for several significant upcoming events. Key highlights included the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games in Dubai, the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, and the 2026 Asian Para Games set to take place in Aichi and Nagoya.

Shaikh Mohamed bin Duaij's active involvement in the meeting highlighted Bahrain's significant role in the Asian Paralympic movement. His participation reflects Bahrain's commitment to developing future policies that align with the aspirations of athletes with determination across the region.
