Bahrain Oncology Center Receives National Diamond Accreditation

Manama: The Royal Medical Services' Bahrain Oncology Centre has achieved the National Diamond Accreditation, awarded by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), in recognition of its excellence in healthcare services and the quality of care provided to patients. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, CEO of the NHRA, presented the accreditation certificate to Brigadier General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services (RMS).

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Ansari emphasized NHRA's commitment to supporting healthcare institutions in achieving further milestones, enhancing Bahrain's position as a regional hub for advanced healthcare. He noted that the accreditation underscores the center's efficiency in meeting the highest standards of quality and governance in patient care.

The Bahrain Oncology Centre was also designated as a "Centre of Excellence in Governance," recognizing its integrated governance framework and its culture of transparency and collaboration, which prioritize patient safety. The national accreditation is granted to healthcare institutions in Bahrain for four years as part of NHRA's efforts to enhance quality and transparency in the healthcare sector.
