Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has ended at 1,953.99 points, showing an increase of 4.20 points from the previous close. The rise is attributed to gains in the consumer discretionary, financial, industrial, and material sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an uptick, closing at 810.36 points, which is an increase of 3.48 points from its previous close. The trading session witnessed 128 equity transactions with a volume of 1,072,043 shares valued at BD 352,399.
Investors focused predominantly on the financial sector, which accounted for 35.61% of the total value of traded securities.
