Manama:Isa Al Shaiji, Chairman of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA), commended His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's robust support for Bahrain's media and national press, highlighting their importance in the Kingdom's comprehensive development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Shaiji expressed gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his dedication to the national press. He praised HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's recent visit to the Ministry of Information and the National Communication Centre, where he engaged with members of Bahrain's press community and editors-in-chief. This visit, Al Shaiji noted, signifies HRH's ongoing support for the media as a vital societal component contributing to national development.
Al Shaiji also acknowledged HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's pivotal role in addressing significant challenges facing the Kingdom, particularly after the recent Iranian attack that targeted lives and property. He credited HRH's field visits and follow-ups with bolstering security, reassuring the public, and protecting Bahrain's developmental achievements.
The BJA Chairman highlighted the national media's professionalism during the Iranian attacks, emphasizing their unified response to misleading campaigns and their role in maintaining public confidence.
