Ahmed Mohamed Janahi, CEO of Bahrain Airport Company, stated that the recognitions reflect BAC's commitment to continuously enhancing the passenger journey, covering essential aspects of the airport experience from customer service and seamless arrivals to accessibility, public health readiness, and operational resilience.

He added that the renewal of the Public Health and Safety Readiness Accreditation reflects BIA's preparedness in managing public health risks and protecting passengers, employees, and the wider airport community.

BIA's Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation Level 2 highlights BAC's commitment to providing an inclusive and accessible travel experience. This accreditation is awarded to airports implementing effective accessibility enhancement plans, governance frameworks, training programmes, and services supporting passengers with visible and non-visible disabilities throughout their journey.
