Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,919.91 points, marking an increase of 2.78 points above the previous closing. This rise was attributed to gains in the communication service sector, the consumer discretionary sector, and the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced an increase, closing at 811.04 points, which was 0.18 points higher than its previous closing. Results from the trading session revealed that 52 equity transactions occurred, involving a volume of 778,497 shares valued at BD 189,248.
The trading activity was predominantly concentrated in the financial sector, which accounted for 46.03% of the total securities traded by value.
