Bahrain Hosts World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2026 Under Crown Prince’s Patronage

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Kingdom of Bahrain will be hosting the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2026 under the patronage of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This significant event is expected to bring together entrepreneurs and investors from around the globe, further establishing Bahrain as a hub for economic and entrepreneurial development.

In other developments, HM King congratulated the Iranian President on the occasion of their National Day. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister engaged in several high-level meetings, including discussions with the Coordinating Minister for National Security and the Minister for Home Affairs of the Republic of Singapore. Additionally, HRH met with the Deputy Chief of Naval Staff of the Republic of India and the CEO of Capital A Berhad. The Crown Prince recently departed the Kingdom of Bahrain for a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he met with HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

The forum was also highlighted by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, who inaugurated the second edition of the National Defence and Security Forum. Meanwhile, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad emphasized the strategic direction set by the Bahrain Sports Summit for the sports sector's development. On behalf of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister attended a reception at the Kuwaiti Embassy.

In other diplomatic endeavors, the Interior Minister met with his Singaporean counterpart, and the Foreign Minister received a special envoy for the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor agreement project. Additionally, the Industry Ministry, in collaboration with UNIDO, announced the establishment of a regional centre of excellence for prosthetics and rehabilitation in Bahrain.

The Health Minister chaired multiple meetings concerning national health issues, including the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases, combating communicable diseases, and efforts to combat smoking and all types of tobacco products. The Agriculture Minister visited Dar Aqua Aquaponic Farm, while the Tourism Minister announced Bahrain's hosting of the 3rd International Tourism Investment Forum in October.

Furthermore, the Youth Minister held meetings with the Egyptian Ambassador and the Chairperson of the Bahrain Youth Hostels Association. Under the patronage of HM King, a modern military facility was inaugurated at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), marking a new phase in the Kingdom's defence capabilities.
