Bahrain Hosts CEM2025 Conference on Emissions and Air Quality Monitoring

Manama: Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, inaugurated the CEM Middle East Conference and Exhibition on Emissions and Air Quality Monitoring (CEM2025). The event, taking place for the first time in the Middle East, is hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from April 8-10.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Bin Dainah stated that Bahrain's hosting of CEM2025 underscores its commitment to fostering international cooperation on environmental issues. He pointed out that the conference serves as an essential platform for exchanging knowledge and promoting collaboration on emissions monitoring and air quality, which are crucial for supporting sustainable environmental practices.

The conference features more than 40 technical presentations by global experts across seven main sessions. These sessions focus on emissions measurement, analytical technologies, and environmental compliance. In addition to the presentations, the event includes panel discussions and hands-on workshops aimed at enhancing understanding and capabilities in these areas.

During the conference, Dr. Bin Dainah toured the technical exhibition, which is part of the event. The exhibition showcases the products of 55 international companies specializing in emissions monitoring equipment, smart monitoring solutions, and emissions reduction technologies. It provides attendees with the chance to discover the latest innovations and engage directly with manufacturers and suppliers from around the world.
