Bahrain Holy Quran Grand Prize concluded

Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Department of Holy Quran Affairs recently concluded the final qualifiers for the 26th edition of the Bahrain Grand Prize for the Holy Quran.

The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments held the ceremony online in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs Mohammad Taher Al Qattan.

The participants consisted of 3,563 male and female distributed among seven group prizes – The Holy Quran memorization for students of Quranic centers, Bayan Prize for school students, Ajran Prize for people with mild intellectual disabilities, Ghufran Prize for inmates of the Correction and Rehabilitation Department at the Ministry of Interior, Radwan Prize for the public, and Salman Al Farsi Prize for non-Arabic speakers recitation.

The competition also included individual prizes – The eldest contestant prize, the youngest contestant prize, Dawood’s Flute prize, best Quranic center prize, Family Quran Prize, and Best Local Quran Competition prize.

Al Qattan praised the support received from His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in serving the Quran and spreading its teachings and values.
