Bahrain Highlights Diplomatic and National Developments

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours. The reports highlighted significant diplomatic interactions and national developments involving key government figures.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King met with the UAE President in Abu Dhabi, marking a notable diplomatic engagement. Additionally, HM King extended congratulations to the President of Cameroon and sent a cable to a former US President, reflecting Bahrain's active participation in international diplomacy.

In domestic affairs, the Deputy Prime Minister chaired the weekly Cabinet Meeting and issued two edicts, Edict (29) and Edict (30) of 2025. The latter regulates joint communication services, which the Information Minister noted would boost unified policy development. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasized the role of the Nasser Centre as a platform for talent and development.

Bahrain also expressed condolences to Egypt following a military aircraft crash, showcasing solidarity in regional matters. The legislative authority held a joint meeting with the Foreign Minister to discuss Bahrain summit efforts, underlining the country's focus on international cooperation.
