Makkah: Committees of the Bahrain Hajj Mission conducted a field visit to Makkah and the holy sites as part of preparations for the 2026/1447H Hajj season, to inspect accommodation and camps designated for Bahraini pilgrims and assess their readiness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, specialised teams reviewed preparations at accommodation sites, with the evaluation and follow-up committee inspecting buildings and facilities, while the security committee verified compliance with safety and civil defence requirements.
The teams also followed up on the preparation of camps through the planning committee, in the presence of representatives of Bahraini Hajj tour operators, including checks on structural installations, infrastructure, and site development projects.
The committees and tour operators affirmed commitment to completing preparations in line with the highest standards to ensure the best services for Bahraini pilgrims, commending coordination with relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia to facilitate the performance of rituals with ease and reassurance.
