Bahrain Hajj Mission Holds Coordination Meeting with Licensed Tour Operators

Manama: The Bahrain Hajj Mission held a coordination meeting with licensed Bahraini Hajj tour operators to explain the mechanism for entering the holy sites and the pilgrims' dispatch plan, as part of the preparations being carried out by the mission's Security Committee in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Security Committee of the Bahrain Hajj Mission emphasized the importance of adhering to the approved organisational dispatch plan, which contributes to ensuring the smooth movement of pilgrims and maintaining their safety while travelling between the holy sites.

The committee noted that the meeting reviewed the phases of the dispatch plan and the mechanism for transporting pilgrims, including departure schedules, bus routes, and assembly points, in addition to the procedures regulating entry to camps and the use of approved transportation.

Regarding organisational procedures, the committee explained that the meeting included emphasis on a number of instructions and guidelines related to dispatch operations, including compliance with safety instructions and the use of the Nusuk card while travelling and entering camps, contributing to regulating the movement of pilgrims and ensuring their safety during movement between holy sites.

The committee also underscored the importance of wearing train wristbands while moving between camps and the holy sites, in addition to adhering to the instructions of approved guides from the time pilgrims disembark from buses until they arrive at the camps.

As part of field follow-up efforts, the committee noted that it will oversee the monitoring of bus movements and ensure tour operators comply with approved schedules and routes, in addition to direct coordination with the relevant authorities, to ensure the smooth and safe movement of pilgrims between the holy sites.
