Manama: Dr. Ibrahim Farouk Obeid, Head of the Medical Committee of Bahrain's Hajj Mission, affirmed that the mission's clinics in Mina and Arafat efficiently managed all medical cases received, providing prompt care as part of an integrated system to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims during Hajj.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Obeid noted that the Mina clinic treated several cases, including heat exhaustion, fatigue, high blood pressure, and other health concerns, all of which were addressed immediately thanks to the preparedness of the medical teams and clinic facilities.
Dr. Obeid added that the Arafat clinic provided care to Bahraini pilgrims experiencing fatigue, with medical teams delivering close monitoring and appropriate treatment, enabling pilgrims to complete their rituals safely and comfortably.
He praised the significant cooperation and logistical support from the Saudi Ministry of Health and relevant authorities, which facilitated the Bahraini medical teams in carrying out their duties efficiently. He also confirmed that the mission continues to monitor the health of all Bahraini pilgrims around the clock in coordination with field medical teams.
Dr. Obeid emphasised the committee's commitment to providing the highest standards of healthcare throughout all stages of Hajj, wishing all pilgrims safety and acceptance of their rituals.
