Bahrain Golf Club Concludes 2025-2026 Season with Award Ceremony


Manama: Bahrain Golf Club held the closing ceremony of the 2025-2026 sports season and awarded the winners of the Crown Prince Golf Championship. Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and Chairman of Bahrain Golf Club, attended the ceremony.



According to Bahrain News Agency, Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi awarded prizes to the top three winners of the Crown Prince Golf Championship. Khalifa Mohammed Al Muraisi secured first place in the gross category, while Ali Saleh Ali came second in the same category. Mohammed Khalid Al Hazza claimed third place after a tie-break, with a total score of 67 points.



Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi expressed appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for supporting the championship. He noted that the event reflects the continued interest in advancing the sports and youth sectors in Bahrain.



The Chief of Staff also commended His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), for the ongoing support provided to the club’s activities. This support has contributed to developing golf and advancing sports competitions in Bahrain.



Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi highlighted that the current sports season featured various championships and events with participation from players and club members. He expressed appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the season, including players, members, administrators, and club personnel, and wished continued success for Bahraini golf in the coming seasons.
