Bahrain Experiences Shift in Weather Patterns With Potential Thunderstorms

Manama: The Meteorological Directorate has issued a weather forecast indicating a shift in Bahrain’s weather conditions, predicting fine weather transitioning to cloudy skies tonight. There is a chance of scattered rain, which may develop into thunderstorms at times.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the wind is expected to be mainly northerly, ranging from 7 to 12 knots, with speeds increasing to 15 to 20 knots during the day. Gusts could reach up to 25 knots, prompting a warning for thundery showers and strong gusts. The sea state is projected to be between 1 to 2 feet inshore and 3 to 5 feet offshore, potentially rising to 6 feet during gusts.

The forecast anticipates a maximum temperature of 24 ºC and a minimum of 16 ºC. Humidity levels are expected to peak at 90% and drop to a minimum of 45%.
