Manama:Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, emphasized the ongoing efforts to maintain the efficiency and continuity of Bahrain's healthcare system, highlighting it as a key priority for the government to ensure accessible healthcare at high efficiency levels.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Kingdom of Bahrain, guided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has mobilized resources across the health sector to maintain efficient healthcare delivery under all conditions.
Dr. Hasan explained that the health sector enhanced its operational preparedness early on with a comprehensive approach to various healthcare needs. This initiative involved increasing preparedness levels, boosting capacity, and ensuring the continuity of operations and services.
She noted that resources were managed based on actual requirements with ongoing monitoring of strategic stocks of medicines and medical supplies, which helps maintain operational efficiency and meet healthcare needs consistently.
Coordination within the health sector during the Iranian attacks, combined with the expertise of national healthcare professionals, was crucial in sustaining stable operations and enabling the healthcare system to respond effectively to diverse needs.
The Health Minister stated that the ministry is continuously developing its working mechanisms and strengthening institutional preparedness to ensure the quality and sustainability of healthcare services for citizens and residents.
Dr. Hasan added that efforts to advance the healthcare system are ongoing to adapt to changing circumstances and support service sustainability. The sector's accumulated experience and the proficiency of healthcare professionals in managing various requirements serve as a vital foundation for further development, enhancing the sector's ability to perform effectively while maintaining the continuity and quality of healthcare services.
