Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on local events that happened over the past 24 hours. According to Bahrain News Agency, the prominent events included diplomatic engagements and commendations for sporting successes. His Majesty King has arrived in the United Kingdom and also extended congratulations to the President of Angola. Meanwhile, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister engaged in several diplomatic meetings, including discussions with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Montenegro, the Chairman of STC Group, a Shura Council member, and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany. Additionally, His Highness Nasser bin Hamad congratulated His Majesty the King and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister on the national volleyball team's victory in the Arab Championship. Bahrain has also extended condolences to Saudi Arabia for its fallen servicemen and condemned the train station terrorist attack in Pakistan. The Justice Minister attended a preparatory meeting for the A rab-Islamic summit, while the Electricity Minister received the outgoing Turkish Ambassador. In other developments, the Transportation and Social Development Ministers have assumed their duties, and the Montenegro Prime Minister visited the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bahrain National Museum. Bahrain participated in the 19th Parliamentary Coordination and Foreign Relations Committee meeting, and the EWA President received the outgoing Turkish Ambassador. Notably, the Royal Medical Services achieved the first TMJ replacement surgery in the Middle East, and under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the University of Bahrain held its 26th graduation ceremony.
