Rome: Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, Member of the Council of Representatives, highlighted Bahrain's commitment to human dignity through laws promoting equal citizenship, anti-discrimination, and social justice. Speaking during a panel on supporting vulnerable groups at the Second Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue in Rome, he affirmed Bahrain's dedication to fostering an inclusive society under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Al Aradi emphasised the nation's efforts in establishing a national model that safeguards marginalised communities and promotes their integration.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Aradi also pointed to Bahrain's international humanitarian efforts spearheaded by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation. Under the guidance of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the foundation is actively involved in providing aid to crisis areas worldwide. This initiative reflects Bahrain's broader commitment to humanitarian assistance on a global scale.
Al Aradi further advocated for stronger partnerships between parliaments and religious leaders. He urged collaboration to align public policies with ethical values and encouraged the institutionalisation of solidarity as both a legislative and moral duty.
