Washington: The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the United States of America hosted a reception marking Bahrain’s National Days and the Accession of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The event saw the presence of Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, along with officials, diplomats, and representatives from the US House of Representatives and Senate.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa extended his congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty the King and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on this national occasion. He expressed his pride in the achievements realized under the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty the King, with guidance from His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Ambassador emphasized that the celebration reflects Bahrain’s approach to building bridges and strengthening ties between peoples, cultures, and sectors. He highlighted the depth of the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States, underscored by key agreements such as the Free Trade Agreement, the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), the resumption of direct Gulf Air flights between Bahrain and New York, and cooperation in education, digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and healthcare.
He affirmed that the enduring bilateral relationship is built on trust, shared values, and a vision for a more stable, prosperous, and interconnected future.
