Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) President Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa received Egyptian Ambassador Yasser Shaaban.
The SCIA President stressed the strong and solid Bahraini-Egyptian relations that receive the interest of the two leaderships.
He expressed his pleasure of the visit of Al Azhar Al Sharif Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Al Tayeb to Bahrain upon an invitation from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to participate in the Bahrain Forum for Dialogue: East and West for Human Coexistence which will be held on November 2-4.
The meeting discussed relations and cooperation between SCIA with Eugpt’s Al Azhar, Awqaf Ministry, and Dar Al Ifta.
They also reviewed topics of common interest.
The ambassador expressed his appreciation to the council’s president for his efforts in strengthening relations.
