Bahrain Denounces Attacks on UAE Embassy in Damascus

Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has condemned and denounced the acts of unrest, attacks, and attempted vandalism targeting the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates and the residence of the Head of Mission in Damascus, Syria. These actions, which included offensive measures against state symbols, have been described as a violation of international laws and norms.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared Bahrain's full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, emphasizing the importance of protecting diplomatic premises and personnel in line with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961.

The Ministry further expressed its support for the security and stability of the Syrian Arab Republic and advocated for measures to hold those responsible for the attacks accountable. It highlighted the significance of maintaining strong relations between the countries and promoting regional security and stability.
