Bahrain Delegation Attends World Government Summit 2025 Opening Session


Dubai: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, led Bahrain’s delegation at the World Government Summit 2025 in Dubai, held under the theme “Shaping Future Governments.” The summit, which opened today, brings together world leaders, government officials, and experts to discuss global challenges and innovative solutions.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister highlighted the summit as a key platform for exchanging insights, best practices, and strategies to enhance governance and further develop international cooperation. He emphasized its role in addressing pressing global issues through discussions that bring together leaders, decision-makers, and experts.



The summit focuses on six main themes: effective governance and accountability; financing the future and the global economy; climate, crisis mitigation, and resilient cities; human-centric futures and capacity building; global health transformations; and emerging frontiers and the future. It features discussions led by international leaders, ministers, and experts on major global trends and transformations.



Bahrain’s delegation included Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyed, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS); Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development; Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce; Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs; Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain; Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa, President of the Civil Service Bureau; and Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Mumtalakat.



Delegation members participated in panels, discussions, and forums addressing key challenges and effective governance practices to support national growth and development.
