Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has reported that Iran is persisting in its systematic hostile actions through unlawful attacks aimed at civilians within the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the BDF's air defence systems, demonstrating firm resolve and a high state of combat readiness, successfully intercepted and neutralized several Iranian aerial attacks on Wednesday, September 2. The General Command affirmed that all services and units are maintaining the highest levels of readiness and defensive preparedness to protect the Kingdom.
The General Command advised the public to remain vigilant, urging them to avoid any unfamiliar or suspicious objects resulting from the remnants of the Iranian attacks and to report them immediately. Personnel from the Royal Field Engineering Unit are on full alert to safely handle and neutralize such objects, ensuring the safety of citizens and residents.
The statement further emphasized that the deliberate targeting of civilians and private property with missiles and drones is a clear violation of international humanitarian law. The General Command also expressed pride in the advanced combat readiness and vigilance displayed by its personnel in fulfilling their duty to defend the nation.
