Bahrain Daily Newspapers Highlight King’s Activities and Government Achievements

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours. The coverage includes multiple activities and engagements by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who issued Decree (10) of 2025, and received His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad as well as an Egyptian ministerial delegation. Furthermore, the King was thanked by the Lebanese President and extended congratulations to the President of Estonia. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issued a circular on working hours during the holy month of Ramadan. He also received thanks from the President of the Republic of Lebanon and congratulated the President of the Republic of Estonia. In addition, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasized the impact of the King Hamad Award in empowering youth creativity focused on sustainable development. The Southern Governor hosted the US Ambassador, while the Deputy Prime Minister issued Edict (1) of 2025. Discussions betwee n Bahrain and Mongolia were held to strengthen cooperation, and the Interior Minister engaged with the organising committee of the MOI Bahrain Tennis Challenger. The Finance Minister also met with the Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister. In other government activities, the Information Minister received the IOM Mission Chief to Bahrain, and the Health Ministry launched an enhanced organ donation registration system. The Housing and Works Ministers discussed regulations related to gated communities that aim to enhance sustainable housing standards. The Education Ministry achieved third place at the BIGS 2025, while the Municipalities Ministry secured first place. The Industry Minister chaired the National Standards committee meeting, and the Legal Affairs Minister met with the Turkish Ambassador. In parliamentary affairs, Bahrain's Shura Chairman discussed cooperation with his Saudi counterpart. Bahrain's technological advancements were highlighted as the country's first government data centre received Tier III accreditation from the Uptime Institute. The Muslim Council of Elders held its 18th session in Bahrain, and Bahrain's MP Qarata was elected as the Arab Parliament Finance Committee Coordinator. The Public Prosecution also participated in a GCC committee meeting.
