Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today spotlighted significant events over the last 24 hours, including the return of HM King to Bahrain following visits to Saudi Arabia, the UK, and the UAE.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King also received the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and expressed condolences to the Ruler of Ajman. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister similarly extended condolences to Ajman's Ruler. In military developments, the Bahrain Defence Force, under the patronage of its Commander-in-Chief, conducted the Falcon Eye/3 military drill.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa was present at the closing ceremony of the 2024-2025 horse racing season and chaired a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust. Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister issued Edicts (31) and (32) of 2025.
The Interior Minister met with the GCC Secretary-General, and the Foreign Minister engaged with local newspaper editors. The Health Minister achieved a notable position by being elected Vice President of the World Health Assembly. The Education Minister congratulated students for winning three medals at the GCC Robotics Olympiad.
In other engagements, the Legal Affairs Minister met with the IOM Mission Chief in Bahrain, and the Transportation Minister discussed cooperation with senior UAE officials. The Housing Ministry participated in the Third Gulf Housing Week in Kuwait, and the Sustainable Development Ministry organized a workshop on SDG indicators. Additionally, a Bahraini delegation attended the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in Riyadh, and the Shura Chairman received the outgoing German Ambassador.
