The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a security checkpoint in the Libyan city of Sabha, which resulted in the killing of two security officers and the injury of others.
In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry stressed the Kingdom’s solidarity with the brotherly State of Libya in its efforts to eliminate terrorist organisations, and its endeavours to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Libyan people towards security, stability and prosperity, in a manner that preserves the integrity, security and territorial integrity of the State of Libya and leads to the elimination of violence, extremism and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
The Ministry stressed its firm position in rejecting terrorism, and called for the concerted efforts of the international community in condemning these heinous terrorist acts and attacks.
