Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has expressed strong condemnation and denouncement of the recent Iranian terrorist attacks on key civilian and vital facilities in Kuwait. These attacks targeted a building belonging to a Chinese company in the northern region of Kuwait, resulting in the death of a worker and causing significant damage to the building.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain described the attacks as a blatant violation of Kuwait's sovereignty and a direct threat to the security and safety of its citizens. The Ministry also stated that these actions represent a severe breach of international law and the United Nations Charter, as well as Security Council Resolution No. (2817).
Bahrain affirmed its complete solidarity with Kuwait, offering full support in confronting these attacks and endorsing any legitimate measures taken by Kuwait to protect its sovereignty and stability. The statement highlighted the strong ties between the leaderships and peoples of Bahrain and Kuwait.
The Ministry emphasized that the security of Kuwait is integral to the security of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. It praised the Kuwaiti armed forces and relevant authorities for their role in safeguarding the country and extended condolences to the family of the deceased worker.
Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its call for the international community, particularly the Security Council, to take urgent and decisive measures to compel Iran to adhere to international law and cease its terrorist activities. This includes respecting state sovereignty, ensuring the safety of maritime navigation, and contributing to regional and international stability.
