Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has issued a strong condemnation following the targeting of a Saudi hospital in Al Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, in western Sudan. This attack resulted in the death and injury of several individuals.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain expressed its condolences to the Sudanese people and the families of the victims. The Ministry also extended wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the country's firm stance on the importance of protecting civilians and civilian infrastructure. It called for the safeguarding of health and humanitarian workers and stressed the need for the full, rapid, safe, and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid, as outlined in the "Jeddah Declaration," the Security Council resolution, and relevant international conventions.
