Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the signing of a Declaration of Principles between the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Congo River Alliance - March 23 Movement, facilitated through diplomatic mediation by the State of Qatar.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the declaration an important step towards achieving a lasting peace agreement that supports stability and national reconciliation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Ministry emphasized Bahrain's commitment to supporting efforts aimed at resolving conflicts in the Great Lakes region and across the African continent through dialogue and peaceful means.
Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that such efforts contribute to peace, security, and sustainable development at both regional and international levels. The Kingdom remains steadfast in its support for initiatives that promote dialogue and reconciliation among conflicting parties.
