Bahrain Commemorates Historical Ties and National Pride with UAE


Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today highlighted events occurring over the past 24 hours, emphasizing the strong bilateral relations and national pride shared with the UAE.



According to Bahrain News Agency, a Commemoration Day ceremony was held under the patronage of His Majesty the King, underscoring the depth of historical ties between Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. His Majesty the King also extended congratulations to the Amir of Qatar on the occasion of Qatar’s National Day, a sentiment echoed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.



Additionally, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad attended the Commemoration Day ceremony, while the Royal Court Minister, following directives of His Majesty the King, expressed gratitude to Bahrainis for their participation in National Day celebrations. The Interior Minister and the Youth Minister were also in attendance at various events, including the opening of the Games of Future 2025 and the Phygital Sports Summit in Abu Dhabi.



Further, the Shura Council Chairman and the Speaker congratulated Qatar on its National Day, highlighting the spirit of regional camaraderie. The Deputy Interior Minister participated in the First Arab Regional Forum on Early Warning and Disaster Preparedness, while a Parliamentary Division concluded its participation in the 40th Extraordinary Session of the AIPU Executive Committee in Cairo. Bahrain International Airport also welcomed visitors arriving to celebrate National Day, marking a period of enduring national pride and renewed commitment.
